Give OUT for LGBTQ Youth

Do you know that over 30% of youth in foster care identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and gender expansive (LGBTQ+)?

LGBTQ+ and gender expansive children and youth are among the most vulnerable children in foster care. Family rejection of a child’s sexual orientation, gender identity and expression (SOGIE) contributes to the disproportionate number of LGBTQ+ youth in child welfare and juvenile justice systems, and among the homeless.

You can help.

Join a team (or bring in your friends and form your own team!) for the the Family Builders Youth PRIDE Campaign. You’ll help make sure LGBTQ children have the loving, permanent families that every child deserves.

You will support the Family Builders’ Youth Acceptance Project, where we work with birth, foster, and adoptive parents and caregivers of LGBTQ+ youth to prevent family separation, reduce the time LGBTQ+ youth spend in foster care, and reunite youth with their families.

Take action today to help make sure LGBTQ+ children and youth have the love, acceptance and affirmation that every child deserves. Learn more
