We have an immediate opening for a Development Director to provide leadership in carrying out the agency’s mission. The Development Director is a one-person development department. The current development program is made up of foundation, government support, events and individual donors. The Development Director cultivates current and prospective donors; writes grant proposals and reports; and manages agency marketing and branding, including social media. The Development Director coordinates agency events, including executing an annual fundraising event.
Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree or equivalent is preferred. Five years of development experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with progressive experience in fund development and a successful track record in fundraising, including donor solicitation, social media marketing and related technology, grant writing.
