We currently have an opening for an Adoption Navigator. The Adoption Navigator facilitates matching between children in foster care and prospective adoptive parents through the California Kids Connection (CKC) web site. They will maintain child photolistings and help potential adoptive parents navigate the fost-adopt system and respond to inquiries about children who are listed on the CKC web site; as well as provide other administrative assistance as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. Writing and communication skills required, use of independent judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality are required. Must be organized and pay strong attention to detail. Must be committed to the mission of Family Builders. Knowledge of adoption and foster care systems is desired but not required. People of color and LGBTQ individuals are encouraged to apply.
Family Builders offers an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, acupuncture, chiropractic, mental health, pension, and a generous leave schedule. The salary for this position is $55,566.
