Every year, Family Builders ensures that all the children we serve receive a gift for the holidays. For many youth in foster care, the holiday season can feel complicated, a time that oftentimes includes uncertainty, sadness, or distance from family and familiar traditions.
A holiday gift may seem simple, but it holds something meaningful: a sense of being seen, remembered, and valued. It tells a young person, “You matter and you are part of a community that believes in you.”
